Contact lens optician students at Bradford College participated in a scleral contact lenses workshop that was led by Ian Sexton, professional services manager at No7.
Students completing the contact lens certificate were invited to the event, which included discussions about specialist lenses and the chance to get hands-on with mini-sclerals.
Dean Dunning, programme leader at Bradford College, said: ‘This workshop was invaluable in giving them the confidence in being able to discuss and fit more specialist lenses within their clinics in the future. It is certainly something that we intend to continue to run regularly in the future.’
