2 offenders added to Texas Most Wanted lists

He is known by the following names: Reynaldo Tijerina, Rey Tijerina, Ray Skinny Tijerina and Skinny. 

He is also known as Xavier Smith and Reginald Wright. 

Raynaldo Farias Tijerina and Cecil Colby Smith have both been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Lists and one is believed to have ties to Amarillo.

Tijerina, 44, of San Antonio, has been wanted since October. Smith, 40, of Dallas, has been wanted since August.

According to a news release from the Department of Public Safety, Smith was convicted of violating a protective order/assault/stalking and was sentenced to four years of probation in 2022. The following year, he was convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and sexual assault of a child. The charges stem from incidents with a 13-year-old girl. Smith was sentenced to five years in prison. He was convicted in 2011 of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to eight years.

Smith was also released in 2017.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for Smith’s arrest in August for child abuse by injury. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for him in December for failure to register as a sex offender.

Smith is 6 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has tattoos on his left cheek, neck, chest, both arms, both wrists and his left hand. He is believed to have ties in Amarillo, Longview, and in Oklahoma.

He is also known as Xavier Smith and Reginald Wright.

Tijerina has ties to the Tango Blast gang and has a lengthy criminal history.

Tijerina was convicted of murder in 1995 and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. While there, he was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 15 more years. He was released on parole in January 2017.

In October, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for Tijerina for invasive visual recording and possession of child pornography and the Texas Board of Probation and Paroles issued one in November for a parole violation.

Tijerina is 5-foot, 11-inches and weighs about 195 pounds. He has tattoos on his face, neck, abdomen, left arm and left leg. He has brown eyes but may wear colored contacts.
