Apple has launched two non-Pro models this year -- iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. The iPhone 14 sports 6.1-inch display, same as iPhone 13; while the iPhone 14 Plus has 6.7-inch display. So, one difference is that iPhone 14 Plus gives users a bigger-screen option. But yes, this relatively bigger-screen option comes at a premium of Rs 20,000. As iPhone 13 is priced at Rs 69,900 after the recent Rs 10,000 price cut. Apple iPhone 14 Plus is priced at Rs 89,900 onwards

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are powered by the same processor as the iPhone 13 series – A15 Bionic chipset. However, there’s a small difference in GPU. Apple iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have 4-core GPU; while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus come with a 5-core GPU setup.

Crash detection is another new feature that Apple has added to its 2022 iPhone lineup. The crash detection system can detect in case there’s a car crash and notify emergency services and contacts with necessary details like location, medical info, etc.

According to Apple, the crash detection feature only runs when you are in a car and processes information when the crash is detected. Also, everything happens only on the device itself.

The non-Pro iPhone 14 models, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, have the same primary camera specifications, dual 12MP camera setup at the back. There’s a small change in the front camera. It still has a 12MP sensor, but now supports autofocus. The inclusion of autofocus allows the camera to automatically focus on the subject irrespective of the distance and surrounding environment. This will also ensure that the subject is always in focus while taking photos and videos using the front camera.

Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro come in five colour options -- Blue, Purple, Starlight, Midnight and Product (Red). The Purple colour is new in iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 models, it is not there in iPhone 13 series (non-Pro models). And yes, Apple has dropped iPhone 13’s Pink colour option for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.
