Sharon Stone, the Academy Award nominated star of Basic Instinct and Total Recall, has been announced as the new face of LensCrafters, the eyewear retailer.

The actress is part of the Your Eyes First campaign, which focuses on the experience offered at LensCrafters. The campaign video shows a dazzling Stone wearing an iridescent suit walk into a LensCrafters store.

Here is everything we know about the campaign and Stone’s thoughts on partnering with LensCrafters…

Sharon Stone has been announced as the face of LensCrafters’ 2022 “Your Eyes First” campaign, which includes a television spot. The campaign will also be showcased in LensCrafter stores on digital touch points, on the LensCrafters website, and across the company’s marketing channels.

In the campaign video, Sharon can be seen wearing a variety of glasses from LensCrafters including a sophisticated Ray-Ban Round model which comes in a colour combination you can only get from LensCrafters.

Sharon sashays into LensCrafters in the campaign video, and is quickly helped by a plethora of eager staff. She tries on several frames in the store and tells one of the customer assistants that she looks like “the most famous thing you’ve ever seen.”

You can even shop Sharon’s style on the LensCrafters website, and pick yourself up a pair of Burberry Evelyn frames for $293.00.

For Sharon, eyewear has not only become a vision solution, but an “empowering outlet” to show her personality and creativity as an accessory.

She explained that she is “thrilled” to partner with LensCrafters as it has always been “and continue to be a respected and recognized leader in the industry” by providing “vital vision care to so many.”

“I am thrilled to partner with the brand for the ‘Your Eyes First’ campaign demonstrating that the right pair of glasses can provide a fresh twist to elevate your style while taking your overall health into account. From getting an eye exam to being fitted for new frames with lenses tailored for my vision needs, LensCrafters provides a personalized, elevated experience,” Sharon said.

LensCrafters is a retailer of prescription eyewear and sunglasses. They offer a “complete range of premium lens solutions,” and also have “a wide selection of standard and specialty contact lenses available.”

Many of their stores host independent optometrists who use the “latest eye exam technology” to offer personalised prescriptions.

Since 1988, LensCrafters has worked with OneSight to help students get access to eye exams and glasses. Over $20 million has been donated to OneSight by LensCrafters customers and employees, and over 7,000 LensCrafters volunteers work at OneSight clinics.
