On August 22nd, 2022, at 1pm, an adult male selected a hammock and a pillow valued at $509.99 from a store located near the intersection of Stone Road West and Edinburgh Road South in the City of Guelph. He placed both items in his bag and left the store without paying.

On August 23rd, the male failed to attend court in regards to the following unrelated criminal charges: -Possession Of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5,000 -Unlawfully Possess Identity Documents -Breach Probation x6

On August 25th, just prior to 9:42am, police located the male near the intersection of Silvercreek Parkway North and Paisley Road. He was subsequently arrested.

A search incident to arrest revealed $512 worth of stolen tools and work gloves.

A 28 year old Guelph male has been additionally charged with: -Theft Under $5,000 -Fail To Attend Court -Possession Of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5,000 -Breach Probation x2

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing on August 26th.

Some time between 5am and 5:10am on August 25th, 2022, a shed in the backyard of a residence located near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue West and Woolwich Street in the City of Guelph was entered.

Entry was gained as the shed’s padlock was cut off.

A grey, black and silver KHS Alite Mountain bicycle valued at $1,200 was taken.

A white Infinity Boss bicycle was left behind in its place.

Some time between 1am and 9am on August 25th, 2022, a restaurant located near the intersection of Silvercreek Parkway North and Willow Road in the City of Guelph was entered.

Three tablets valued at $200 each and $238 in cash was taken.

On August 25th, 2022, at 8:38am, an adult male attempted to enter a residential building located near the intersection of Waterloo Avenue and Edinburgh Road South in the City of Guelph, however the main door was locked. He then attempted to gain access to the building by ripping the screen off a window, causing $50 worth of damage, however the window was also locked. He then left the area.

The male is described as: -Brown coloured skin -Shaved head -Wearing blue jeans, a grey shirt and a blue jacket

Some time between 9:45am and 7pm on August 25th, 2022, a residence located near the intersection of Waterloo Avenue and Edinburgh Road South in the City of Guelph was entered.

Numerous items were taken including: -Laptop -Identity documents -Fanny pack - Ray-Ban sunglasses with a gold frame and brown lenses valued at $120
